I feel a little background information is always a good place to start, so here in this video you can learn how many bands of Spanish Mustangs are left in the United States. The herds are small now and there is no concern by the government of the heritage of these horses. Paying attention to how many they are removing from the herds also tells a story of the disregard for lines of the Spanish Mustang to be destroyed….forever. It is in our hands to protect them, mother nature can take care of the herds but man’s constant interference has created a no win situation for the Mustangs. They take the mares away from the foals and sell them to slaughter; the foals will not survive alone. The stallions that carry the Spanish DNA are being removed and destroyed. This didn’t just start today……this has been happening for years now. Your help is needed to get the word out to as many people as possible to improve the chances for changes that are needed in our legislation. More on the legality of what is happening in our government… who is caring for the Mustangs; namely the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) ┬áin my next post, at one time they were protected but sadly not anymore.

Welcome to my blog! here you will find some of my most compassionate words, feelings, and everything factual about the Wild Mustangs in the United States. I will attempt to keep this on the more personal side but politics and political views will come into play as it is in the real world today. In tackling this project of mine, you will begin to see that not only is there a tremendous amount of politics in the Mustangs current situation, but also compassionate concern for their welfare from millions of people all over the world and myself of course. There is so much to talk about…..from their history in the west, to survival, to possible extinction? Hopefully not! My inspiration for doing this blog is the Wild Mustangs current plight of too much human interference, which today includes animal abuse, slaughter houses, and other emotionally charged issues. So enjoy your stay, it is my hope to keep educated on these and many more issues on the Mustangs of America and from around the world. I will be sharing links and new information as it is available; simply a one-stop place for all the information we need to be actively fighting for their Freedom. As we fight for their rights and their freedoms we are in actuality fighting for our own as well. Lets stay informed and involved doing whatever we can to help save them; you don’t know what you’ve got till its gone is a saying that I don’t want to associate with our Wild Mustangs.
